Review of the 2025 Open House Live Event in Tübingen

On May 6 and 7, 2025, WALTER held an open house in Tübingen.

Under the motto “Super-hard materials,” our guests enjoyed exciting presentations, informative technical talks, and discussions. Here are a few impressions of the event and the products that were presented.

In addition to a hearty breakfast, our guests were treated to a delicious lunch and cake in the afternoon. Coffee and various beverages were also available throughout the day.

VISION LASER

Our latest laser processing machine VISION LASER offers innovative laser technology for a wide range of applications for brazed tools in modern tool production. The design of the machine is based on WALTER's HELITRONIC VISION, which has been proven and reliable for decades, and the laser technology used offers industry-proven reliability for precise and efficient tool production.

ATP Automated Tool Production

With the new “Automated Tool Production (ATP)” system, WALTER now offers an automation solution for cylindrical precision tools. ATP is the innovative solution for networking grinding, eroding and measuring machines from WALTER, as well as upstream and downstream machines from other system partners in the production process.

The ATP system requires no additional floor space, can be integrated into existing system layouts and is also suitable as an interface for machines from other manufacturers.
